A+ Content
A+ Content is Amazon's enhanced product description module, with multimedia layouts with images, comparison charts and brand storytelling on listing pages.
What does A+ Content actually mean?
A+ Content (formerly Enhanced Brand Content) is Amazon's enriched product description format. Replaces the plain text below the product images with multimedia layouts: hero banners, image-and-text modules, comparison charts, brand stories and feature highlights. Available to Brand Registered sellers.
Amazon says A+ Content can lift sales on a listing: buyers spend more time on the listing, build more confidence in the product and brand, and convert at higher rates. The investment: each A+ module takes real design and writing time; image production (lifestyle scenes, comparison graphics) is the bottleneck for most sellers.
AI tools have sped up A+ Content production. Amazon seller suites (such as Helium 10) and AI product-photography tools (such as morphed) help generate the imagery and copy that A+ requires. Modern Amazon brands ship A+ content for every ASIN, hero products and the rest of the catalog alike.
Example
A skincare brand uploads 7 A+ modules per ASIN: hero banner (lifestyle imagery), ingredient breakdown (comparison chart), how-to-use (3-step graphic), founder story, customer testimonials, comparison vs. competitors, brand mission. The team compares the listing's conversion rate before and after.
When it matters
A+ Content is non-negotiable for Brand Registered Amazon sellers. AI tools have made shipping it across full catalogs economically feasible.
