advrt

A Madgicx alternative built around creative tests

Madgicx is a Meta ads management and automation platform, from $45/mo by ad spend. advrt makes product ads and tests each against your 30-day baseline, from $19.99/mo.

Madgicx is a full Meta ads cockpit: an AI Marketer that audits your account, automation rules, Creative Insights, an ad launcher, an AI image generator and server-side tracking. advrt does fewer things. It makes product ads, structures a fair test for them on Meta, and tells you which to keep.

Free plan: 5 ad generations a month, no card.

Madgicx or advrt: the short answer

Choose Madgicx if you want one tool to run your Meta account day to day. It audits campaigns around the clock, suggests actions you approve in one click, runs automation rules like Stop Loss, reports across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Shopify and Klaviyo, and sells server-side tracking (madgicx.com/llm-info, checked October 2026). advrt doesn't manage your account.

Choose advrt if your problem is creative: you need new ads for a product and a fair answer on which ones work. advrt writes the angles, makes image and video ads from your product photo, gives each creative its own ad set with an equal budget, and judges each one against your account's last 30 days. Madgicx's own test guide leaves picking the winner to you. advrt starts at $19.99/mo; Madgicx starts at $45/mo and rises with ad spend (as of October 2026).

Why buyers look past Madgicx

You don't need an account cockpit

If you run a few campaigns and Meta's own tools cover the rest, a platform for audits, bidding, rules and reporting is more than you'll use.

Your price shouldn't grow with spend

Madgicx prices by monthly ad spend and upgrades you automatically at 105% of your tier. advrt's plans are flat.

You want the test judged for you

Madgicx's A/B test lesson has you copy ads, run them, and pick winners in Creative Insights. advrt applies a published statistical rule to each ad.

Where each tool is stronger

Madgicx does some things advrt doesn't. Here are both lists.

Madgicx is stronger at

Running the whole Meta account
AI Marketer audits accounts 24/7 and prepares actions to approve. Automation rules, Stop Loss, bulk budget changes and an ad launcher cover daily media buying.
Creative Insights across all ads
AI labels every creative, including video, shows which ones drive revenue and flags fatigue. advrt only reports on its own tests.
Reporting and tracking
One-Click Report pulls in Meta, Google Ads, GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo and TikTok. Cloud Tracking runs Meta's Conversions API Gateway for $49/mo.

advrt is stronger at

Concepts written from your product
3 to 6 angles per campaign, each with hooks, a Meta headline, primary text, a CTA, a video script and an image concept.
Video ads, too
Veo 3, Kling 2.1 and Luma text-to-video, or animate your product photo with Veo 3 Fast, in 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9.
Fair, judged tests
One ad set per creative with an equal daily budget, judged against your account's last 30 days. Verdicts don't flip, and losers can pause automatically.
Flat pricing
Free with 5 ad generations a month. Basic is $19.99/mo and Pro $49/mo, whatever you spend on ads.

What does Madgicx do?

Madgicx calls itself "the agentic AI advertising platform for Meta ads" and states plainly that it "optimizes Meta ads only" (Madgicx llm-info, updated October 6, 2026). The product is a set of tools around a Meta ad account.

AI Marketer audits the account around the clock and prepares changes, such as new ads or audiences, that go live when you approve them (AI Marketer). Automation rules and tactics like Stop Loss pause underperforming ads or ad sets. The ad launcher combines your top creatives with copy, and Ads Manager 2.0 replaces parts of Meta's interface. Creative Insights uses AI to label creatives, including video, and flags fatigue (Creative Insights).

On creative, the AI Ad Generator makes image ads from a prompt, an uploaded image or an ad from the Meta Ad Library. We didn't find a video generation feature on Madgicx's pages in October 2026. Madgicx also sells Cloud Tracking, a hosted Conversions API Gateway, at $49/mo on its own or as Tracking Pro inside a plan (Cloud Tracking).

How does Madgicx handle creative testing?

Madgicx's Academy lesson on A/B testing describes a manual process. You copy an ad or ad set to make each version, optionally generating variations with the AI Ad Generator first. Its media-buying team recommends testing 15 or more versions a week. Stop Loss can pause underperformers, and you choose winners by reviewing Creative Insights and Ad Copy Insights (Madgicx Academy: A/B test).

The lesson's rule of thumb is that "a creative test should run for at least a week or until you spend at least twice your average cost per purchase." That's a sensible minimum. It doesn't say what result at that point counts as a win or a loss, which is left to your judgement.

advrt automates both halves. It builds the test with one ad set per creative and an equal daily budget, then applies a fixed rule to each ad every day: winner, loser, still collecting, or inconclusive. The research section below shows what that rule says at Madgicx's 2× CPA checkpoint.

Where is Madgicx the better choice?

Madgicx does a lot that advrt doesn't attempt. advrt has no rules engine beyond pausing test losers, no budget or bid automation, no audience tools, no cross-channel dashboards and no tracking. If you're a media buyer running several Meta accounts, those tools save hours every week, and advrt can't replace them.

Creative Insights is also a real advantage. It looks at every creative in the account, while advrt only sees the ads in its own tests. Agencies that report to clients get One-Click Report dashboards that combine Meta, Google Ads, GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo and TikTok.

advrt is the better fit when the account itself is simple and the hard part is the creative. It writes the concepts, makes the image and video ads around your real product, and runs the test without a media buyer setting it up.

How does Madgicx pricing work compared with advrt?

Madgicx doesn't show prices on its pricing page; it says "See price inside the app" and asks for your monthly ad spend (Madgicx pricing). Its llm-info page says plans "are priced by monthly ad spend and start at $45 per month, with monthly, quarterly and annual billing," with a 7-day free trial (as of October 2026).

If your spend goes past your tier, Madgicx's Academy says you're moved to the next tier automatically at 105% of the tier's limit. On monthly billing the upgrade stays; on quarterly or annual billing you pay the difference for that month (Madgicx Academy: spend limits). Tracking Pro is an extra $49/mo per connected account.

advrt doesn't price by ad spend. Free has 5 ad generations a month, Basic is $19.99/mo with 100 generations and live tests, and Pro is $49/mo with unlimited generations. The price stays the same whether you test with $500 or $50,000.

What does advrt's rule say at Madgicx's 2× CPA checkpoint?

We ran advrt's real verdict function (judgeAd in lib/loop/judge.ts) for one creative in an account with a $40 CPA over its last 30 days and $20 a day per ad set. Each cell is the verdict advrt would give at that spend and purchase count.

Purchases so far$40 spent (1× CPA)$80 spent (2× CPA)$100 spent (2.5× CPA)$120 spent (3× CPA)$160 spent (4× CPA)$200 spent (5× CPA)
0 purchasesStill collectingStill collectingLoserLoserLoserLoser
1 purchaseStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingLoserLoser
2 purchasesStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingInconclusive (stops)
3 purchasesStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingStill collectingInconclusive (stops)

Computed by calling advrt's judgeAd and defaultSpendBounds with a $40 baseline CPA. The test stops at 5× CPA ($200 here). Results sync daily, so real spend at each check can run past these points.

At exactly 2× CPA with zero purchases, advrt still says "still collecting". The account's normal rate would produce zero purchases on that spend about 14% of the time, which is above advrt's 10% cut-off. At 2.5× CPA the chance falls to about 8%, and the ad is called a loser.

Three purchases on $40 is a winner straight away, because that's a CPA of $13 against $40. Three purchases on $80 isn't, even though the CPA ($27) looks better than the account's: at that spend, three purchases happens by chance about a third of the time. Two purchases on $200 is never called a loser before the test stops, so it comes back inconclusive.

This is the information a 2× CPA rule of thumb can't give you on its own. The checkpoint tells you when to look; a stopping rule tells you what the numbers mean.

Questions about switching from Madgicx

Does Madgicx generate video ads?
We didn't find video generation on Madgicx's site in October 2026. Its AI Ad Generator makes image ads from a prompt, an image or an ad from the Meta Ad Library. Creative Insights does analyse video creatives. advrt generates video with Veo 3, Kling 2.1 and Luma, and can animate your product photo.
How much does Madgicx cost?
Madgicx prices by monthly ad spend. Its llm-info page says plans start at $45 a month, and the pricing page shows the exact price inside the app after you enter your spend. There's a 7-day free trial. Tracking Pro costs $49 a month per connected account.
Can advrt replace Madgicx's automation rules?
Only for tests. advrt can pause losing ads in its own test campaigns automatically. It has no general rules engine, no budget scaling, no bid automation and no audience tools.
Is advrt's test the same as Madgicx's A/B test?
The structure is similar: separate ad sets for each version. The difference is the judging. Madgicx's guide has you review Creative Insights and decide. advrt compares each ad with your account's last 30 days using a Poisson test on purchases (or a CTR test without purchase data) and labels it winner, loser or inconclusive.
Will advrt's test campaign clash with Madgicx rules?
It can, if a Madgicx rule pauses or changes ads inside advrt's test campaign. Exclude the test campaign from account-wide rules so every creative keeps an equal budget until advrt reaches a verdict.
Does advrt work on platforms other than Meta?
advrt publishes to Meta and TikTok Ads, and live tests run on Meta. Madgicx manages Meta only, with reporting that also covers Google Ads and TikTok.
